Studio C-41 is Growing!

Studio C-41 has seen incredible growth starting this podcast nearly 4-years ago. As we continue to grow along with the rapid growth of the film community, the demand to deliver film photography media has expanded. Studio C-41 understands users consume content in many forms: audio, visual, and written. In order to deliver the ever growing demands, we’ve decided to expand the team!

We brought on Alex Luyckx, a good friend from the podcasting world: Classic Camera Revival, as our senior writer and editor for Studio C-41. Alex, not only is an amazing photographer, has written incredible, and consistent review articles on film, film cameras, and film processing techniques on his website. We are beyond excited he has joined the team.

Alex Luyckx is a Canadian photographer and writer from Milton, Ontario. Much of his photography is using traditional film materials leaning towards black & white using 35mm, 120, and 4×5 film formats which he develops at home in the kitchen. When it comes to history he leans towards Canada’s rich military and industrial heritage which is also shown in his participation in Anglo-American War of 1812 reenactments.

He serves as a private in the 7th Battalion, 60th (Royal American) Regiment of Foot. Alex and his wife Heather love to travel the world, exploring major cities and backroad communities. He is an active member of the online film photography community where he writes reviews of cameras, films, and developers and is the founder and co-host of the Classic Camera Revival Podcast.

Please give Alex a warm welcome to the team!
