Sunkissed Summer – New Lomography Color ’92 Sun-Kissed

Sunkissed Summer – New Lomography Color ’92 Sun-Kissed

With summer half over, there is still plenty of time to get out there and enjoy the sunny weather! To get that nostalgic look from the early 1990s (it’s still hard to believe that those were over thirty years ago), Lomography announced the release of a new version of their Color ’92 film, Lomochrome Color ’92 Sun-Kissed. This ISO-400 colour negative film is available in 35mm, 120, and 110!

This new version of the original Color ’92, first released a year ago, promises a revived nostalgia with warm tones and further creativity with an extra burst of 90s look and feel. The press kit describes the film as crafted to capture the essence of a golden-hour glow; this unique emulsion enchants with its mesmerizing soft orange and yellow hues, delivering radiant and glowing skin tones. It boasts remarkable adaptability across various environments and lighting conditions and offers cinematic blues and oranges under bright skies. In shadier compositions and in studio, vivid reds intertwine with smooth, misty green and blue tones.

Like all our LomoChrome films, each film production is totally unique, and no two emulsions will ever be the same. Dedicated to the timeless artistry of analogue photography, we are forever committed to developing fresh films for contemporary photographers worldwide. This release marks our next exciting chapter, and we’re thrilled to continue offering distinct new films. Rest assured, our experimentation knows no bounds. There’s much more to come. Lomochrome Color ’92 Sun-Kissed is available through the Lomography store and ships worldwide; prices are 12.90 USD (35mm), 11.90 USD (120), and 8.90 USD (110) per roll/cartridge.

In 1992, a creative revolution burst, changing the photographic world forever. Its name? The Lomographic Society International. Established by an unruly bunch of happy-go-lucky students, their idea exploded into an eccentric global movement and became the wild child of analogue photography we know today.
